Hybrid Expert Conference
Every year, the Association of Bavarian Housing Companies (VdW) invites to the event “WohWi im Dialog” (= “housing industry in dialouge”) in Reit im Winkl. The autumn conference has been taking place in the Bavarian holiday resort since the 1960s.
In 2020, only 50 people could attend the event on site, while the rest had to watch the programme in front of the screens at home. Even in 2021, the corona pandemic was a major factor in the planning of events. Nevertheless, the association wished to be able to increase the number of people on site. Therefore, GRAL set up a huge tent in order to be able to offer the participation on site to 250 people, and used the space thus gained in the ballroom as a partner lounge, in which the almost 20 partners could stay and enjoy discussions with the participants.
In addition to the annual tasks in the context of partner support and accreditation, the approval and construction of the tent as well as the creation and implementation of a hygiene protocol were added to GRAL’s responsibilities that year.
