Honoring Directors & Actors
On June 22, 2021, the 20th presentation of the “Peace Prize of German Film” took place in the Cuvilliés Theater in Munich. Like so many events in 2021, the award ceremony took place as as a hybrid event with a small number of guests on site and others at home following a live stream. Directors and actors were honored for their work during the glamorous ceremony. Each year, the focus is on films of great importance to society, as well as films with critical backgrounds. The Munich-based event agency GRAL, in cooperation with the Bernhard Wicki Memorial Fund, took over the complete event management of the event: the hygiene protocol, the process planning and management of the service providers as well as the on-site coordination.
